The 400-BLKU is a Dell-branded 18 terabyte (TB) hard drive that uses the SATA interface, has a rotational speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute (RPM), a data transfer rate of 6 gigabits per second (GB/s), and a buffer of 512 megabytes (MB). It also features 512e sector format, which is a standard sector size of 512 bytes, but also includes an additional 4 bytes of data, known as the “e” for emulation, this allows for larger capacity. It is designed to be hot-swappable, meaning it can be replaced without shutting down the system. It comes with a tray and it is a 3.5 inch form factor.
