The Dell 400-BJKR hard drive is designed to provide high-speed data transfer rates. The SAS 12GB/s interface provides a fast data transfer rate of up to 12 Gbps, which is faster than previous versions of SAS and allows for faster data transfer to and from the hard drive. Additionally, the hard drive has a 512MB cache buffer which helps to improve overall performance and increase the drive’s sustained data transfer rate up to 270MB/s. The 7200 RPM spindle speed also contributes to faster data access times.
